i have a 99 camaro, the car has a bbk T-body and full exhaust, with a "sims" something rather. I am used to the good ol carb. I took the plugs out and changed them, the old plugs were BLACK not gray or anything of the sort, BLACK. so i changed them and the car ran great for about 5min then it seemed to drop a cylinder and cough and spit. I looked under the car and noticed there is no O2 sensors. anybody know how to check this "sims" or what may cause the car to be dumping fuel? I followed the headers and the piping all the way to the back of the car and there is not a single wire going into the exhaust. kinda sick of changing plugs in it. anything would help.

the O2 sim's Or simulators replace the o2 sensors for the emmisions side of the thing, shouldnt be causing your fouled plugs if you are missing the front 02 sensors then thats another issue (there are a total of 4 on a stock ls1 fbody two on each side), I would clean your MAF first though if the problem just started. do you have a service engine soon light on? if so scan it and get the diagnostic if you dont have a scanner autozone will scan for free. -- 04 Lemans Blue Corvette Z06
"No way dude...i saw an LS6 fight godzilla and the LS6 beat godzilla and it looked in the air and was like what do you think of that god? And god was like bring it bitch, so they fought and the LS6 beat god and now the LS6 is god because its the greatest thing ever"
what I once thought was, is now no more.
