I found a cable and software on the local craigs list for 120.

Will I be able to just plug this in and use it, or do I need credits or get it rekeyed to my car?

I thought they were ordered to your VIN? So the cable actually has the vin in it?!

Thats what I thought.

So I would have to send it in and get it re-vinned? I think I found some other info that says its about 150 bucks to get it done...
