Update: I have noticed that when it is revving up like that my oil pressure is somewhere between 45-70, 45 while at idle, 70 while under acceleration. But when it stops revving high oil pressure is somewhere between 30-40, 30 at idle, 40 under acceleration. Any idea what this could mean?

Its due to tuning. Useually due to a cam but I dont see that in your sig.Mine does that occasionally. If some has monkeyed around in your file have them fix it.

if its stock cam and stock tune, mmmhm look for a vaccume leak.

It is stock cam and intake, I'll check for a vac leak later today, thanks for the help
