is there a differences in 98-99 lids over the 00-02 lids?

Yes the 00-02 lids have an extra port for the breather tube. You can use an older lid but then you have to put a second filter on the breather port. I saw small universal breather filters at Advance for about $10. They looked like small K&N cone filters.

well eather way is fine with me what one would be better to go with on my car
