Low coolant light will not turn off?

Hey guys,
My low coolant light will not turn off..I checked coolant level and it was just a tad low--I added a small amount of coolant, but light still will not go off--Bad sensor?
99 Ram air Trans am -- '99 Trans Am
Suncoast ram air,, 160 degree therm, SLP Loudmouth, SLP Y pipe, GM 3.73's, T/A rear end cover, BMR strut tower brace, Eibach sportlines, Baer eradispeed crossdrilled, slotted rotors, Hawke pads, 17 x 9.5" Chrome C5's, HPP3.
'00 Honda CBR1100XX,full Yoshimura exhaust, tuned, and way faster than my car

I had the same problem. I watched the level constantly, but got tired of checking it every time I filled up, so I replaced the sensor and it fixed the problem.

I just unplugged mine, who needs a coolant level sensor anyway? --
