Next week I will be getting $200 in cash that I was owed from a friend. What, if anything, can I do with it? -- 99 Black Z-28 "Stripper" M6, SS Ram Air Hood, Borla Cat-Back, J&M Strut Tower Brace, B&M Ripper Shifter, Whisper Lid, Tint (50% front, 35% rear) Pics @ http://191motorsports.myphotoalbum.com/

Save it for future mods. Like headers or gears. -- 2002 Navy Blue Metallic Trans-Am, 6 Speed, Leather, T-tops. SLP Flow Pack, M/T Street Radials, Free Mods, otherwise stock. Moser 12-bolt and BMR Suspension

I found some hedman headers for like 250, they are painted, but there is a place that will coat them cheap around here, so I thought I might go with them. Would I even need to have them coated or is the paint fine? -- 99 Black Z-28 "Stripper" M6, SS Ram Air Hood, Borla Cat-Back, J&M Strut Tower Brace, B&M Ripper Shifter, Whisper Lid, Tint (50% front, 35% rear) Pics @ http://191motorsports.myphotoalbum.com/

Both coatings are junk, they will come off, paint is quicker then ceramic coating.
I would look on ls1tech for a set of used Kooks, QTP, ARH or Dynatech -- 2002 Navy Blue Metallic Trans-Am, 6 Speed, Leather, T-tops. SLP Flow Pack, M/T Street Radials, Free Mods, otherwise stock. Moser 12-bolt and BMR Suspension

This is sorta a noob question but if I buy a set of headers what else do I need to buy, I thought someone said I need a gasket set and a y-pipe, but I'm not sure -- 99 Black Z-28 "Stripper" M6, SS Ram Air Hood, Borla Cat-Back, J&M Strut Tower Brace, B&M Ripper Shifter, Whisper Lid, Tint (50% front, 35% rear) Pics @ http://191motorsports.myphotoalbum.com/

With long tubes you will want to buy new exhaust manifold gaskets. Also if you plan to keep your EGR/AIR setup (the emissions stuff that plugs into the manifolds) you might also want to get new gaskets for those as well, 1 EGR, 2 AIR.
You will need a new y-pipe to go with the long tubes. If I remember right you want to find some o2 extensions for your front o2 sensors and o2 sims for the rear so you dont throw codes (unless you plan to have the car tunes). While the headers are off, that is a good time to replace the plugs/wires. -- Former ride: 531RWHP/477RWTQ Only bolt ons! ...technically everything used a bolt to install
