Spoiler

Posted By: cochran191 On: 02-02-2008 @ 17:43:34         Reply | Edit
I am considering a new spoiler for my car sometime in the distant future, but I don't want a big ricer wing nor do I want the SS spoiler, what does that leave me with?

agreed with moto, get an SS spoiler. The only other thing is some huge ricer looking one or the 3 layer one that they use on the berger camaros. 3 layer spoiler is second choice but the SS is a very clean upgrade from the Z28 spoiler.

I'm afraid that if I get the SS spoiler, that along with the SS hood, it would look like I was making a SS clone, which I'm not trying to do. The guy before me was, he also has the 35th Anniversary dash plate which I'm trying to trade for a regular one or sell to buy the one from After Thoughts Auto. I just want something that makes my car stand out, but in a good way.

Just because they are SS parts, dosent mean you are trying to make a clone. Just dont put the badges on there. People with an SS take off the badges just like people with Z28s put on the spoiler and hood, its because it looks good, not because they are trying to have an SS. That is why it is an upgrade.

SS stuff is overrated and cookie-cutter, everyone has one.

what whiteandred is thinking of is this:
its called a Sunoco spoiler or a freedom design. i bought one and it sucks. took forever to figure out how to install it, due to a lack of instructions. looks neat though.
