Looking at an '00 Firebird

Posted By: lodlaiden On: 01-04-2008 @ 01:46:04         Reply | Edit
What do I need to look out for with a 2000 Firebird WS6. I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know if it's a formula or a trans am.

In general

Previous Body damage.
Paint
Matience records
The shiftability of the trans be it a m6 or a4
ANY noise from the rear if its still a 10 bolt
Brake Vibrations when you stop.
Tire wear.

Some of these things can be negotiated, just as general matience, if he is going to sell you a car that needs a clutch, new tires and a brake job, id be knocking him down 2k, because that is just for the parts alone.

Alright, so for the most part basic items, then anything attached directly to the driveshaft.

Thanks,
