Got another year or so before I have to do something and was wondering what everyone likes.
Would like alittle more tone than stock. The local muffler shop does flowmaster and magnaflow.
Im also interested in stainless catbacks. -- 99 Formula

Corsa, hand down. You will get more compliments then any exhaust, get a high flow catted y pipe will make it flawless.
Borla for me is a close 2nd if I put a QTP elec cut out on it. -- 2002 Navy Blue Metallic Trans-Am, 6 Speed, Leather, T-tops. SLP Flow Pack, M/T Street Radials, Free Mods, otherwise stock. Moser 12-bolt and BMR Suspension

the SLP Loudmouth has a nice tone to it, but people say that it's raspy with high flow cats and headers.
I got alot of compliments/ looks with it, and I didn't feel too bad about leaving the house at 3 a.m either. --

I don't know which is better quality wise, or cost advantage but I know my loudmouth dyno's exactly the same on, or off the system.
It's loud for the street, but it's a zero loss "muffler". -- Welcome to the Internet, where everyone's a mechanic and has a 10 second car.

I love the looks of the corsa. I'll try to find a clip of the borla and the loudmouth. Any of these have excessive drone sound in the passenger compartment? -- 99 Formula

Yeah, my car is bad with the loudmouth cruising
in town.
It's tough to talk and listen to the radio at
moderate levels. I'm actually considering a
swap to a quieter muffler and a cutout. -- Welcome to the Internet, where everyone's a mechanic and has a 10 second car.

LM = Garbage, Might as well put a turn down after the header and make sure its tuned. -- 2002 Navy Blue Metallic Trans-Am, 6 Speed, Leather, T-tops. SLP Flow Pack, M/T Street Radials, Free Mods, otherwise stock. Moser 12-bolt and BMR Suspension

There's no drone in the Borla. Puls it's an adjusable exhaust, meaning you can swith the plates to where it fits your taste for sound and performance. I like the tips better than the Corsas too. The tips on the Corsa looks kind ricer/cartoonish. -- 2002 TRANS AM WS6

Stay away from Flowmaster. I have the 80 muffler on my WS6. Sounds just like the stock muffler. --

^ I have a Flowmaster Catback I got used for 125 bux, With a cutout. I like it. Sounds decient and it plenty loud for a driver with a ORY and headers. But I agree the Flowmaster is suppose to be garbage for performance,,,So Ive read --

Might add that flowmaster doesnt last worth a crap either. Didnt take long before one or my tailpipes broke on my flowmaster cat back system. Now trying to decide between slp lm or true duals.
