As far as the style.
Long Tube style is the best
As far as meterial used.
Stainless Steel, no painted, or ceramic coatings.
As for company.
Dynatech
QTP
Kooks
ARH
are quaility stainless headers, the Dynatech SuperMaxx kit is a COMPLETE kit from bolts, gaskets, clamps, o2 sensors etc etc. I know a place that still sells with a catted slip on y pipe for around 1200.00
Also No, the engine does not need to be removed, Remove the old stuff, the oil filter and drain plug and they will slip in. -- 2002 Navy Blue Metallic Trans-Am, 6 Speed, Leather, T-tops. SLP Flow Pack, M/T Street Radials, Free Mods, otherwise stock. Moser 12-bolt and BMR Suspension
