Just making sure that's the one that says European formula on the bottle. Seems a lot of people like it and I found it at autozone, just wanted to make sure that is the right one. -- 94 Z28|BBK Mid-length Headers|SLP Loudmouth|!EGR|!CAGS|!AIR|Canton Oil Pan

If it is 0w-30 Castrol Syntec, then it is 'German Castrol'. BTW, this is not good like it was in the 'green formula'.
Bobistheoilguy.com has shown not so good UOA's on this stuff. The green stuff was excellent, but the new gold stuff is nothing to go crazy about. Mobil1's 5w-30 is better from what I've seen. -- 1991 Dodge Stealth R/T 3.0 DOHC 24-Valve Twin Turbo Pearl White

The Castrol is better than the Mobil 1.

I hear Pennzoil Platium is the best US based syn oil out now other than the Germ Cas, FWIW, YMMV AND if your not running German Castrol 0-30w, your not getting tru 100% class IY syn oil, but who here runs 0-30W?

I would run maype syrup before I would run penzoil. I have seen to many problems with Pennzoil. IMO it is the worst thing you can do to an engine. --
