EGR Removal Question

Hey, when I remove my EGR, there are wire harnesses that no longer go anywhere, what do I do with those? Just tuck them away, or what? Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah I just tucked mine away. Put electrical tape over the plugs

So, other than drop me from 20 mpg to about 12 mpg, what else is this mod supposed to do? Cause I'm not seeing much of a difference. Anyone? Will reprogramming the car fix this?
