On Friday I got my Loudmouth cat back put on, and also put on my whisper lid and k&n filter. I've gotta say that I like the loudmouth, I don't think that it's too loud at all, and my girlfriend agrees.
I also got bored and ported and descrened the MAF housing and cleaned the MAF sensor. I'm happy with the mods, seems like I got a bit more HP than before.
The problem is that now at crusing speeds, when I take my foot off the gas, the car tend to backfire a little. This happens from about 30mph and up, whenever I let off the throttle. Also, now there's a whisteling sound when I get on the throttle. Any ideas on any of these new symptoms?

Whistling is from the lid
The backfire is from the Loud mouth, dont worry when you take the cats off or put a cam in, its going to get louder, and more rediculous.
Porting the MAF just messed with the entire tune of the car, you will get an SES light at some point, the car needs to be tuned to the new flow rates. -- 2002 Navy Blue Metallic Trans-Am, 6 Speed, Leather, T-tops. Ok, thanx. I was planning on getting a tune next anyway. Will it hurt anything if it takes me 2 or 3 weeks to get it tuned? (guess I shoulda asked that BEFORE I did it, eh?) --
