How to Lower a Convertible?

Hey, I just got a 99 T/A Vert. I want to lower it. But all the springs I look at, like the Eibach Pro's say they don't work on Verts? Anyone know why? And is there a way around it? Also, if anyone is running a lowered vert, what are you using? Anything I need to know about the install, other than the obvious safety with spring compressors? Thanks.
