gears

What would i need to change out my gears to 373 and would it be recomendable?

If your even thinking about a cam you need the 4.10's/4.11's

If your asking a question like this. GO to a good shop and have them do it.

would 373's be good on a A-4 car I think 410's would be to much gear, for just bolt ons

An a4 car could probably use 4.10's on the track, but will likely have the motor reving higher than you may like on the freeway. Try using one of the calculators at http://www.fbody.com/calc.htm For an automatic on the 1/4 mile, use 1.1 as the trannsmission gear, your tire size, trap speed, and rear gear to give you rpm's through the traps. For an automatic on the freeway, use .7 for the transmission gear, then the same everything else to give you cruising rpms.
