Also the lights will flip up when i turn the fog lights only on. Also hear grinding from driver headlight after the light is in closed position. Is my car going crazy or possessed? Basically your options are to rotate the gear 180 degrees, replace it with a brass gear, or replace the motor. --

The horn would beep too, and the lights would flip up after the doors were closed. I replaced it with a brass gear, and all that stopped. --
