I Just ordered a set of pacesetter LTs with a catless y pipe. Just curious to know how much of a difference I can expect over the stock manifolds? I also ordered a pro 5.0 shifter, I don't expect anything different in performance but it should feel and look better. -- Red '99 Z28, M6, Factory body kit, K&N CAI, Flowmaster Catback, Hypertech 180 degree thermostat, Jet performance module, MSD 8.5mm wires, NGK TR55 Iridium plugs, chrome 18" AR Rebels, BFG G-force T/A KDW tires.

Quite a bit. Although I didn't dyno my car before and I wish I had, but after I put my long tubes on the car dyno'd 353 hp and 380 tq. Also had the lid and the FTRA on there as well, but that's it. --

That sounds like a very decent gain for you, I hear the 01 02 fbodys dyno a little higher, so I could expect lower numbers, but if its somewhere close to that I'd be extremely happy.
I was also wondering how the sound quality was and how loud it actually is. I don't want to be getting pulled over all time, especially with no cat. -- Red '99 Z28, M6, Factory body kit, K&N CAI, Flowmaster Catback, Pacesetter LTs, ORY, Pro 5.0 shifter, Hypertech 180 degree thermostat, Jet performance module, MSD 8.5mm wires, NGK TR55 Iridium plugs, chrome 18" AR Rebels, BFG G-force T/A KDW tires.

Actually (and ched knows this) SLP's suck, I bet if he put on anything but a SLP he would gain 10-15 rwhp easy.
Here is a A4 car with just starting to do mods and here is a before and after dyno....
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=608055 he did all the mods at once, its a decent car for a A4, it would be 10-15 more rwhp if it was m6.
On #19 they ported a tb and descreened a MAF Did a ported TB and gained 8hp/2tq up top. Then descreened the MA and lost HP.Now we are at 340rwhp with no pulley yet

Sorta 1st on the docket is a OEM WS.6 hood. I have a personal friend who is on the 2nd page, JL-ws6. his car runs high 10's as is and still has alot in her. He is going with a VFN fiberglass hood, im buying totally mint Pewter hood and having it paints. I have a few rock chips on the head lights so ill have that and the nose done so it all matches correctly.
After that I am trading my Z06 (note, real zo6) gunmetal rims for his 17" Polish Aluminum WS6 rims, the good ones.
For x-mas I am getting the SLP Flow Pack kit, and I am buying SFC's and a pro 5.0 shifter.
From there I have to take my rear end, have a ABS reluctor ring installed as well as 4.10 gears. Then have my BMR and 12 bolt installed, Also mock up my Corsa exhaust. -- 2002 Navy Blue Metallic Trans-Am- Stock as a Rock!

As for a track time I picked up 6 tenths and 5mph with my exhaust setup versus the factory manifolds and catback with a busted cat. --

Probably 15-25 HP gain. Loud with no cats and Hooker Aerochamber muffler. My neighbors are starting to complain. Cops watch me all the time. I need to quite it down some! -- 1998 Red/Grey Z28, Auto, 3.23, 3400 2.1 TC, B&M Trans Cooler, P&P TB, TB Bypass, !EGR, FRA Mod, SLP Lid

Actually, I really don't regret it. I'd say I'm happy with how my car performs. It's deffinetly a decent increase over stock. Are there better gains with other brands? Sure, but honestly I like where my car is right now. It's a fun driver and that's what I want. If I were back into the all out straight line performance scene, I might be inclined to make a change there. But since they're on, I'm staying with them. I got a good deal on them, so no regrets really. --

Header for Headers and bearing in mind paying normal prices SLP is the last option. Since he did get a good deal on and did gain thats a great thing. I am with ched on the just drive it feeling. I'm still paying off my Cred Cards and not lookin to mod it too much.
When I do headers, its going to be stainless and either QTP or Kooks, and I am spending the money once.

Yes Sir! (this is BSM)
I still have the 383, ported heads, LT headers and auto tranny sitting at home. I kept the BMR suspension, Moser 12 bolt and Corsa for this car.
