Bought a used Hurst shifter today. Posted By: cheddar On: 01-04-2008 @ 18:29:05 Reply | Edit Picked up a used Hurst from a freind of mine today. It's not the Pro 5.0, but the model just below it. It should still work pretty well. Do I have to remove the entire center console to swap the thing out? It's not like it's difficult or time consuming, it only takes a minute or two. Went real easy and simple. The shifter feels pretty good. I think I want a shorter stick on it though. The one that's on there now is the same length as the old stocker. Any suggestions on what stick to get? Posted By: cheddar On: 11-01-2006 @ 19:06:02 Reply | Top | Edit Yeah, I pulled the entire console out because the screws on the sides of the shifter boot were to hard to get to. It made it easier to adjust the stops as well. Seeing them in your car is making me start to think... Do they weigh much less than stock seats? Are they adjustable forward and backward?
