LS1 dyno question

Posted By: Rg320camaro On: 01-03-2008 @ 20:37:18         Reply | Edit
ok, my friend just got his firts dyno run done, and all he has done is gutted cats, straight pipes, and a lid. Its a 2002 Z28. Heres his dyno sheet showing his three runs :

I know some are factory freaks, but does this seem legit?

I'll tell you what, I have heard of more than a few 02 LS1s out there dynoing in the 345 range. I'm dynoing mine this Friday. I'll let you know how it turns out. With the mods I have right now, the car feels fast as hell.

I did 320hp 330tq at Thunder Racing. But there was a 01 TA stock that dynoed around 335hp to 340hp stock after some tuning.

Well, if they're corrected they'll go down a bit.

Also, I've noticed a few shops have their dynos read a bit generously to keep customers "happy". I don't know if this is the case, but it could be.
