No boost. Going with the spray instead.

I determined today that boost was much to expensive and time consuming for me. Besides that, the car could easily become my daily driver should my job change like it looks like it could. I know what it's about and how it works and how to do it safe, lot's of experience with it. So given that I went kit shopping today. I decided to go with the Nitrous Express NXL direct port kit. Looks pretty cool and has the solenoids incorperated into the rail with mixing nozzels under the injectors. I also ordered the Gen X kit with all the accessories so it's a complete system. The next thing is to find a clutch that will hold it. I'm not dumping fat cash on a Textralia, so I'm thinking I'll try the LS7 set up. Someone gave me the part numbers a long time ago, but I can't seem to find them now. Anybody got them?
Thanks, Will --

I still plan on posting there.
The LT1 section really gets jumping compared to the LS1 section on this board. Not so many LS1 people around here I guess. --

RSM runs Spec 3, he beats the piss out of it, powershifts. Never had a issue. If your scared, get a scatter shield. Thats another one of your options.

The legacy of the LT1 owner
Don't worry I won't hold you to the fact, since I will soon be a LS1 owner as well, that LS1's are one of the most over achieving horse power making, and under achieving ET making car ive seen in a long time. -- '94 Z28 featuring Nu-tekmotorsports 383 LT1, All forged, Fully ported, Crap load of bolt ons, and coming soon this summer a Bret Bauer custom cam

My car uses no oil.
I didn't know LS1's supposedly used oil. --

And BSM, the over achieving hp, and under achieving ET is not so much a trait of the LS1 as it is a trait if the standard trans. Not too many 6-speed LT1's run the time that their hp dictates they should either. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28

Actually, piston slap seems to be more of an issue on the later models. Mine doesn't do it at all. -- Black '98 Firebird Formula M6

Ordered the LS7 clutch set up today with a new throw-out bearing and slave. Should be here by next Friday. I'll put the girdle on the rear this weekend sometime. Most likely Sunday. And then that's IT, I'm not going to dump anymore into the car. It should be pretty much set then. I will need to get a set of relocation brackets for the rear though. That's no biggie. --

Yeah, I said I wasn't doing anything to my car either. LOL, now I'm afraid to get a P-1SC blower because I'm afraid I won't make the power that I ultimately want in the future with it, lol. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28
