LS1 into a '96

so im looking into dropping a LS1 into my 96 camaro z and was wondering if anyine else has and what type of modifications are required

Wouldn't you save money just trading in the 96Z for an LS1 car? Just an idea.

I have never seen a LS1 put into a LT1 car....I can't imagine that you would need to do a ton of modifications though. Just have to make sure you have all the wiring and PCM. This is guess on my part so please don't go buy an LS1 just because I said that. haha
