This is just the first of a long list of mods I'm planning. Curious where I could find a LS6 intake or a FAST for cheap. Any ideas? --

Just go with the LS6 for now. The FAST is expensive as hell and I'm told you can loose some bottom end with it unless you're S/C'd or turbo'd.
I see them for sale over on LS1tech all the time. That or Ebay. --

Be VERY careful buying them off Ebay, i know a TON of people who were scammed on there by sneaky sellers selling old LS1 vette intakes.
If you do find one on there, check the guys feedback, and verify the part number BEFORE you send them any cash! Just because it has "No EGR" does NOT mean its an LS6!
But yes, as cheddar said they are on LS1tech allllll the time. --

Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep that in mind.
BTW I was at the dealership this morning and just for shits and gigles I thought I'd get a price on the intake. First I told him I was looking for a price on a 2002 Camaro intake manifold. The price he spat out was 710.xx
Then I asked how much a manifold for a 2002 LS6 Z06 Vette would cost. Price 900.xx
Just found it funny how they like to stick it to the vette guys. Not sure if it was just the dealership making a mark up or not but that's just nuts! --

Yup, theyre a few different part numbers for em. STAY away from the ones with part numbers ending in 33 though! Those are the 97+ C5 vette intakes which are flat on the bottom and have NO EGR, but they are NOT Ls6 intakes! It is just a different looking LS1 intake that sneaky sellers can and WILL pass off as the LS6 advertising its "No EGR" and flat bottom.
Do a search on LS1tech and you can get the RIGHT part numbers for the real LS6's. And just be careful buying used or from private sellers. DEMAND part numbers! --

FAST intakes are known for burning # 7 piston due to design, its rare but has happend, but will make more power then a LS6 but not much, personally LS6 is cheaper and makes good power. -- '94 Black Z28, 383 LT1 Breaking 11's SOON!
