LT1 install help

I need to what it takes to swap out an LT1 for an LS1 in a 96 trans am. What all extra do i need for the swap. and what are the cost. is it worth it to swap out when i can get a new LS1 for the price of the LT1. PLEASE HELP ME (crunched for time)

i thought about it but i opted to build my LT1 i spent about 8k and I DARE AN LS1 TO PULL UP. LS1s are strong but you can get great power out of an LT1 also. My car feels stronger at 3500rpm than it did at 6000 stock. LS1 doesnt sound half as good either.
