FBody.com email is provided through Google's GMail Hosted E-Mail Service.
You can have a YourUserNAme@FBody.com email address with full POP3/SMTP/web access for just $1.00/month. Registering for an EMAIL ACCOUNT IS NOT A FORUM ACCOUNT! If you are just looking to post on the message boards/classifieds/timeslips/reviews, then you want to register for an account here: http://www.fbody.com/forum.htm Why we charge for this service if GMail is free? We charge for this service for a few reasons: 1) We have to manually administer accounts. That means we have to manually create your account after your payment is received and we have to manually monitor your subscription each month to make sure you continue to pay for it. 2) We have a limited number of email addresses @fbody.com available There are only about 500 total addresses available right now. Google may provide us with more in the future but for now, I can't offer this to everyone, so the people who are willing to help support the site by donating $1/month can have an email address @fbody.com 3) Why should I pay $1/month for Gmail if it's free. See above. We run FBody.com as a free site for everyone to use. It costs us a lot of money to keep the connection and server hardware operating. If you like the site and want it to stick around for a long time, certainly you will be willing to donate a few $s a months to help cover our costs. 4) How do I know my account is active? Your email address will be: <your_Fbody.com_Username>@fbody.com. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you want some other name @fbody.com, you'll want to consider getting that name at fbody.com and paying for this service through that name. You'll know your account is active when you receive an email from me to your FBody.com Profile email address. Your FBody.com profile email address MUST match your PAYPAL account's email address. If you get an FBody.com email address and want to use it as your primary email address, it would probably be best to just add your fbody.com email address to the list of allowed email addresses on your current paypal account. 5) Is there any other method of payment? No. Sort Of. Maybe. Email me at jhogan@fbody.com and explain why you can't use paypal and I'll see if it makes sense to make an exception.
