Saw a modded STI (guages on the pillar, loud bov, debadged, exhaust, no telling what was under there) and he gave me a 'hey-you-wanna-run' nod. We slow down to about 50 and he starts honking his horn. Crap, I dunno what gear I should start off in, so I leave it in 3rd. We both nail it on the 3rd honk, and he proceeds to pull pretty hard on me. 3rd gear is FOREVER long, but once I start reaching the top of it, he stops pulling as hard, and once I'm in 4th for a couple of seconds, he isn't pulling any more, but is out about 5 cars. Oh well. He exits and I continue my trip with my wife sitting in the passenger seat telling me that 'I don't care you lost, you aren't buying any mods"... =)
