Two races:

1) raced a cbr1000rr (brand new) with the gtp. umm, was hardly a race... he left me so fast I was still downshifting to 2nd.

2) a guy in my license class had a 675 daytona (my DREAM bike). afterwards we lined them up from about 40 mph up (the SV650 and the 675). I had him til about 90 when he walked by me at a decent clip. Wasnt smoking me, but obviously was a faster bike. I've heard that my midrange will outbeat a 600 rocket (which it did) but then of course I cant expect much up top. @ about 100 it seriously feels like there is a wall holding back my bike. All in all though, my bike should trap 110 vs his 132 or so. I'd love to race the guy from a stop though, I think my torque coulda held him off to 100.
