What is your coolest/favorite kill

Posted By: ChazGotAZ28 On: 05-12-2008 @ 22:46:44         Reply | Edit
Just wondering what everyone's fave kill in their car is. Mine would have to be a Ferrari Testarossa. It was before I had stroked the motor out so it was pretty close but I got him twice. I'll never forget the look on the guys face. He had a Texas Millonaire's club license plate frame and here comes some young kid with an old Camaro that edges him to to about 135.

^I don't have time to answer right now, but let's just say that I have a list of every street race I've ever been in, so I'll post up a few good ones.

Great thread idea!

I'm gonna have to go with: Here are a few of my favorite races (because they weren't all wins.

When I got my first car (1984 Z28 low output, A4) it ran mid to high 16's. One night cruising I ran a kid that had a 1986 Mustang GT. I got destroyed. My next car was a 1987 GTA 5.7. I ran a 15.2 @ 90 mph with the MAF unplugged. My friend and I spent one weekend giving it a full tuneup and making sure it was running right and then went out cruising. We ran into the same 86 GT. This time I was able to get a fender on him and hold it. We were psyched about the win. Later on I got a stock 1994 TA A4 with 3.23's that ran 14.1 @ 97 mph. I ended up running into the same car and we ran again. This time I expected to destoy him, but I only won by a fender again. I'm not sure what he did, but it was a great race!

Later on I had my current 2002 Z28 M6. With the mods it makes 420 rwhp 374 rwtq. I ran into a 2004 Viper. The guy must have thought I was stock because he gave me a big jump, waving me to go. I went and pulled a few cars with him unable to catch up. Now I had his attention so we lined up twice more. Both times from an even punch he would pull about a 1/2 car right off the jump and then it would be dead even. We slowed up after to talk and he thought my car was supercharged, lol. I'm assuming I was the better driver since he should have been making around 440 rwhp and more tq than me.

My first race after getting my cam in was pretty funny. I was taking my buddy out for a ride to show him the newfound power (344 to 420 is quite noticeable, lol). We run into this kid with a 1996 GT auto convertible, lol. We run from a stop, but with my street tires I have to baby launch it and short shift into 2nd and then into 3rd to get any traction. He got a HUGE lead on me, but I absolutely blew past him at around 100 mph. We took it up onto the highway and ran twice more from high rolls and it was just sad. So we pulled into t a gas station and he comes up and asks if I had a supercharger. I tell him no, and he looks at the ground and says, "Oh, I do." LOL, it was hard not to start cracking up.

Those are just a couple of the good ones. I have 5 pages full, lol.

my favorite kill is probably my good friends 95 BMW M3.

He has a ton of mods (mostly suspension) but he has 3.9x gears in the back and it feels like it rips.

Anyway, we both had a passenger and he starts egging me off. (both of the passengers were good friends and thought my car would lose).

Anyway, i agree and we hit it from like 35 or so. I jump about a 1/2 car and then just continue to walk away until I have about a car and a half at 90. I was pretty happy that my old LT1 with just CAI and exhaust took down his m3 that has a ton of money into it.

Nice stories guys!

I'd have to say it was against a guy with a new cobalt SS. His girlfriend works with me (not hot) and he is always up there peeling out in the parking lot and what not. A total douche.

He'd always come up and talk smack and how fast it was and I'd usually ignore him because he never came out and asked if I wanted to race. (but lets be honest, my car should lose).

Well, he did finally ask, he had to wait till he had a crowd of people leaving work. I told him I would but that my car had less power and was heavier and he should win if he was good at driving at all. So he goes on saying he was great at driving and that he'd been practicing and all that junk. So, we finally go to a spot we can put it down, and I get a major jump on him cause he was burning them. By the time I'm at 60 the race is completely over and I just hit the brakes and turn around. He flys by and then turns around himself. We did this two more times and the third time people from work saw it! It was great the amount of shit they were giving him. About how I even told him he should win and that he must suck at driving. He said I had better tires and that I must have some major mods or he would at least been able to pull back on me.

It was great! He should have won, I gave him three chances and he didn't.

Now he can't afford the car and it got repo'd

I have another one that is pretty good. I was out driving one night and come up to a stop light next to a 2000-2004 Mustang GT with enough stickers on it to make you think it was NHRA all the way. The car sounded awesome and I told the driver so. He said thanks and we were chatting for a bit and he ended up telling me it run's 9's at the track here in Marana (there is no track out there that I am aware of and thats where I live more or less). I said sounds fast wanna run em'. He said sure your loss. I just smiled and waited for the light to change. It goes green and he got the jump (his auto vs. me spinning in my M6) by about a car I reeled him in 1/2 way thru 2nd and pulled a car and 1/2 by 4th. We got to the next light and his window was now rolled up and he would even look at me. I honked and gave him a smile and thumbs up and he just nodded. It was pretty fun beating a 9 sec car lol.

Chaz, your kill there reminded me of a race I had with a 1985 Monte Carlo. I was hanging out at the local cruising spot and I started talking to this guy. The car wasn't in great condition, but it sounded good. He told me that he had 15K into the motor and that it was some nasty 383 stroker. He said that it ran 11's. When I asked him if he took it to the track he said no, that he wanted to wait until he got the nitrous so it would run 9's. At the time I had my bolt-on 1993 TA A4. My best time was a 13.1 @ 105 mph at a great track on a cold day. I asked if he wanted to run, but he was skeptical about my mods. He thought I had alot more done than I did. he finally agreed and we went out to a good spot. We ran from 5 mph to 100+. It was dead even until about 95 mph and then I started slowly walking away. LOL, I didn't have the heart to tell him that his "11 second" car just got walked by a 13 second car.

Its nto a kill story of me, but its my fav

I have an older friend who owns a monte carlo which has a 383 stroker in it and has about 600whp. Me my best friend wes in his prelude and this monte carlo were heading on our way to wes's house to pick something up and on the way back home, we were at a stop light, me and wes in the prelude behind the monte carlo, and a 1998ish mustang GT pulls up next to the monte carlo, it was a convertible, we could see the guy had his girlfriend in the passenger seat and the guy was yellin at the monte carlo stuff liek " what you got in there!?!?!, lets see what you got! bring it on!!" The monte carlo pretty much ignored him, then he finally rolled down his window and the mustang guy yelled, somethign or another and the guys girlfriend started drinking a coke and then the monte carlo revved its engine the girl spilled it all over herself. It was the funniest thing i had ever seen, me and wes were dying of laguhter, so the mustang guy got really ticked and said somehting liek, alright lets race asshole, so the monte gave the nod and when it turned green, the mustang flew away and about 3-4 sec later the prelude got a huge thing of black smog in our face, lol, and that monte carlo was well past that mustang in no time, the prelude even almost caught up, it was great.

Back when my brother owned the 1993 Integra before he gave it to me, we raced a 2002 Mustang GT with at least some exhaust work done. He drove by a higher gear, obviously kicked it down into 2nd to show off his car, and gave my brother the look. My bro put it into first (wound it out to about 8200 rpm), shifted 2nd, then 3rd, and by then we were already 4-5 car lengths ahead. That guy got pwned. That Integra was pretty fast though.

hmmm i can think of 3 as of right know..

one was a 2004 GT on the street by about 2 cars

2nd was another 1981 Z28 but not buy much we both had the same motor but difference in build i guess? i end up beating him by inches each time.

3rd was a gay little evo by multiple cars. The best part was it was a shaggy little kid listening to rap music loud with his hat to the side and 3 girl in the car. at the light he said that the boost controller was not in? hmmmmm
