350z vs. 93 LX Stang

Posted By: falbtron On: 05-12-2008 @ 02:57:32         Reply | Edit
My car(350z): Short Ram Intake, also removed ~100 lbs. from my car.

His car(Stang): Said he had Edelbrock heads, I would assume a cam, had obvious exhast, huge rear tires (think Nitto's), and look like he had a fuel system running.

Raced from a stoplight, he spun all the way until about 70 , beat him by about 3 or 4 cars.
Then, raced from 2nd gear, he got a head start, but the race ended with me ahead by half a car.

Excellent race, dude was real cool, no cops. Just lettin' yall know.

^ thats because they suck. Z just have power issues...even with Fi they still are a little crappy on the track. Mainly because 350z have power issues.
But i seen some run some decent time with a fully built motor. I would Take a 350z over gaystang any day. i was looking at a supercharged one not to long ago.

Depending on the weather, the amount of weight you took out, and your driving skill I'd say 13.8's are possible. Average for stock is probably 14.2-14.3 with a good driver. They occasionally run high 13's stock. My friend went 14.5 @ 97 mph with CAI and Catback on a hot ass day, and sub-par driving. Definitely let us know what it runs when you take it!

I know alot of people don't like the Z's for whatever their reasons are, but I personally love the cars. My only problem with them is that they are on the pricey side.
