New Camaro, First Kill

Posted By: needaTA On: 11-20-2009 @ 20:08:18         Reply | Edit
Alright guys, I got a 95 Z28 a week ago and ran it against a stock 01 mustang GT Convertible today. Turns out at some point my car had 3.73 gears put in. both cars are auto. As far as I know my car is bone stock except gears.

So we ran from about a 15 mph roll, and by 100, I had him by about 6 cars. does this sound right? That's what happened, but does the extra weight of his convertible give me that many lengths?

We went one more time and I gave him about a car and a half off of a 10 mph roll and by 80 had him by 2. I don't know if his car is hurt or if he sucks at driving or what, but I'm not bitchin lol. Or are gears just that awesome? lol Sorry for the long ass post. Go LT1s haha

Your car is that much faster . More hp , more torque , and the gears .

Yeah, definitely watch out for the Mach 1's. They've been know to hit high 12's in stock form on occasion.
