A couple weeks before my new best run I did a 10.09, so I decided now was the time. I took out all my seats, all the exhaust after the cut-outs, and other junk I had sitting in the car. The day was good with some cool dry air and I did:
60' - 1.489
330' - 4.186
1/8m - 6.410 @110.100
1000'- 8.291
1/4m - 9.978 @137.369
I also ended up winning the animal class, which gives $50, trophy, and a sticker. Wish it would've been on a Sat. though cause the prize money is more like $600 or so.
Now what's left in my mind is 2" long tube headers, fuel injection, and more boost. That is all I have in the works until hopefully I find a really light altered that is certified for 7.00 e.t. or faster. The only issue is always $$$

Thanks all! I really don't know when or if I'm going to stop. I origionally said mid 11's would be good cause I don't want to put in a roll bar and harness. Then it was I'll put the roll bar and harness in and wear a fire jacket, and then be limited to 10.0. As of right now I'm thinking 9.3-9.4 will be my limit because I think I can get the power for that time by more boost and a better exhaust.

Never got an exact total, but I'd say the d-1sc set-up was about $4500 which included the blower, brackets, belt, pullies, tubes (friend), intercooler (ebay), carb. hat, carb., fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, air filter, and a few other misc. things.

On a sad but promissing note, I put the smaller pulley on the blower today and blew something up. I launched, and did notice good bit more power as it ripped tires through 1st. I pedaled it at the top of 1st, and a couple times into 2nd, then 3rd was good until I noticed a large power drop in the last 150 feet. Then I saw a big white cloud behind me as I slowed down. Somehow I'm getting pressure in my crankcase. I'm guessing either a blown head gasket, broken ring/piston, or a hole in a piston. There was just oil everywhere that came primarily from the breather. Motor still ran with no readilly audible strange noises. Oh, and after all that it still managed a 10.4@135. Guess the best way I can look at it is that it's the end of the season instead of the start of one.

Lets hope it's just a blown head gasket.

Well, it's looking like a head gasket problem so far. Only one of the spark plugs looked normal, one was pretty much submersed in antifreeze, and the rest were pretty much just wet looking. The head gasket being the problem would also explain why I had antifreeze somewhat blast out of my catch can. The true damage is to be seen after I get the motor pulled and heads off it.
