buddy just bought 1. light to light roughly 1/4 mile....took em by 3 1/2....i had a hell of a better holeshot then he did but still....that even sound right? are they that slow?

Stock for stock the two cars should be close with the LT1 generally being a little faster. If you get the better launch then it can easily go the way yourace went. Good Kill!

UH.what the hell is a 4.6 module. mabye a 4.6 mod motor? any way a good lt-1 should run 8.69 to 8.80 in the 1/8th mile on drag radials, the stock mod motor cars are usally around, 8.90 to 9.20 in the 1/8.

you should have about 15hp and even more tq(I think) on him...hell with my last fbody(geared seocnd v6) I took out a few at the track by out driving them.
