New Best on Street Tires...

Alright went to NED to get some runs in with the new look. Suspension is actually worse, lowering springs and some no name LCAs. The car made weak power Thursday on the dyno (258/293) and with the 18s all the way around, I was ready for the worst. On some 17s, with skinnys up front, and 272/316 to the tires my old best was a 12.999 @ 107.62 with a 2.06 60'. This past weekend I ran faster than that twice. Heres a run down of the runs, keep in mind this is the first time running it in 2+ years.
Here they are in order I ran them...
60'...1/4...mph
2.173...13.273...106.34
2.024...13.147...105.32
1.948...13.056...105.58
1.958...12.982...106.37
2.033...13.091...106.24
1.918...12.953...106.07
So all in all a good weekend. Won $100 for lowest 13 average out of 67 cars! Could have gone more rounds in the brackets (13.0 letting off and the 12.95 on a 12.92 dial) but my dumba$$ red lit.
Oh well, fun day, let me know what you think! --

sweet man i actually saw a white stang just like yours but without the stripes a few days ago. he parked up at my work... turns out he had heads cam and a bunch of other awesome stuff. he started it up for me and revved it to who knows how fast and it sounded like sex. must have been straight through exhaust --

No idea about the old rims, they don't fit and are long sold.
The 5-lug cost me maybe $500 or so. I got the parts used, cleaned them up and put it all together. Great move on my part. --

hmm sounds nice, i heard that for a cheap front conversion i can just use rotors off like an 83-93 ranger -- 1989 Mustang LX hatch ...best so far 12.00 @ 118 1.86 60' street tires

Well you can use lincoln Mark 7 rotors, and ranger axles/drums (2 driver side ranger ones or pass side aerostars) but the dust cap prevents a lot of wheel choices, and I dont like the way the rotor has the lugs as part of it. Not to mention for not much more if at all I got the SN-95 set up, and in the future can go with Cobra parts! --
