ok i found out my car has the following mods moroso high flow induction air intake, some kind of shift kit. he didnt remember what he put in it. hypertech performance chip upgrade,3" borla cat back exhaust on edelbrock headers no cat and passenger side is closed. rest is stock. any ideas on time i should run? just a rough estimate so when i go ill know how good my car is running.

Anywhere from 13.7 to 15.0 is possible depending on temp, altitude, the motors condition, tire condition, your driving, ect..

Probably in the high 13 range with traction.

And with those mods I'm not really sure how you beat a supercharged GT...

Maybe the 96-99 GT's are slow, but the 99-04 usually put down 365-390 rwhp.

LOL, when I first got my cam, I raced a kid with a 1998 GT Auto Vert. After I smashed him he asked if I had a supercharger and when I said no, his response was, "Oh, mine does." LOL

well i finally ran my car but only had 1st and 2nd gear. got going down the track and it never shifted out of 2nd but i ran a 2.0 60ft and ended up 14.7 at 76 mph lol. i coasted half the track but i got my newly rebuilt tranny last week so tuesday it gets installed and hopefully thursday ill geta full run outta her.

I'd take it easy for a little while before running that new tranny down the track. I know a lot of folks say it's ok right out of the box but for some reason every time I took mine to the track right out of the box for whatever reason it only lasted 3 months or less. Give it a half a dozen or more heat cycles before beating on it and maybee it will last on you. Of course my issues where more than likely due to poor knowledge on the rebuilders part.

Did you get a higher stall torque converter when you had the trans done?

nah they did a stock converter but its hitting the rev limiter 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. now i guess i need a tune but i managed to run a 13.9 hitting the the rev limiter
