my friend has a 2000 zx2 (race-cort) hah, its a five speed, i let him drive my car today, and he was telling me that his car is at 3700rpm at 80 in 5th, i couldnt believe it...
after driving my car he wanted to race, i figured it would be a pretty good race cuz of how insanely low his car was geared...
we did two runs, and he pretty much stuck with me for 1st gear, but my car is geared so tall when i finally hit 3rd he was done with 4th...
overall i had about 2 lengths by 60, and started walking after that...
i was impressed for a bone stock car that only has 140hp from the factory...
im sure there are some fast zx2's out there...
fun times... --

Yea, my brother has a black zx2 and they pick up pretty good in 1st gear. They fall flat on their face shortly after that though haha. -- 94z28 13.0@109 (still tweaking) best 60ft:2.22

my old probe GT ran about 3500 at 70. still got good gas mileage as well. kinda nice cuz at 3500 you have some power if you want to pass someone whereas a taller geared car you would have to downshift.
tahts why i love the stealth on the highway at about 80 mph. it is right at that point where boost grows quickly and almost instantly to pass someone quick and before you know it, even with just half throttle, you're well over 110 without a flinch. only takes a matter of seconds. cant say my A4 LT1 could do that... it always had to downshift to 3rd if i briskly wanted to pass someone --

Mine to RS31. Cruising at 70, my A4 is barely at 2k. Downshift whether you like it or not. -- 1997 WS6 A4, Flowmaster catback, K&N drop in. More to come!!!
