I'd guess .2 or.3. Did you have traction trouble before?

The control arms should help then. You may see a little more but I'm gonna stand by my guess. There's no telling how much the wheel hop was/wasn't hurting you et wise. What tires are you running?

I'm running about 20 lb's in my nittos at the track. I could probably run more but I don't get enough Test and Tune runs to be able to play with it. The general idea is that you want to run as much pressure as you can without spinning. If your pressure is too low you may not get as much MPH out of it, and hurt your et a little.

Yeah like you said you're in need of a drag radial. You are showing gains though, you did gain 2mph. The traction killed you, obviously. You should easily be 13.6 in similar conditions to your first run when you get traction.

^then the m/t drag radials should be fine. They provide the best traction in terms of the drag radial market but also wear down the fastest. I beleive your referring to the 255/50/16. Unless your running weld rims in that case you should probably go with 275/50/15. Do you have relocation brackets install for your lower control arms?

Adding LCA relocation brackets helps to drop the axle end of the LCA's. You can buy both bolt in or weld in but most would recommend the weld in over the bolt in for strength reasoning. This should be the most beneficial mod to reducing your wheel hop. Plus they are only like $30 or something like that. The come in black I think, which doesn't really matter because you'll have to remove the paint to weld them in anyways. Then I suppose you could paint them whatever color you choose.

thanks ryguy. I can do my own welding so I would go with those. what would be more beneficial
a new torque arm or relo's ?

Relocation brackets IMO. That and a TQ arm is going to be $250-$300 i believe. The MT radials are probably the best hooking ones on the market now. Guys are pulling 1.6 and 1.5 60ft times on them.

Like you guys have said get the weld in ones. I had a set of bolt ins on my LT and after a couple hard launches the bolts weren't as tight. When you were accelerating you didn't notice but when you were cruising at about 50 and up it would feel like the rear end was "wiggling" from side to side. Not a good feeling rolling down the interstate.

I can just see my drive train shitting the bed now with these tires LOL. I really like the 17x11 rim look on our cars. How much more traction would that rim tire combo give me ? I have the stock 16x8's now.

Well going to a 17 you're giving up some sidewall, but you are also trading that off for a wider tire. I'd assume on an 11" wheel you'd go with a 315. Plus going to a 17 you're going to a heavier wheel most likely, and rotational mass will effect your et more than dead weight, ie interior.

Generally when people go to a race only tire they go with a smaller rim to increase the sidewall flex and allow for better traction. Given the mods you have, unless you've got some pretty high goals and big plans, I think you'd be fine stepping up to a 17" wheel. If I had it to do over again I'd have kept the 16 inch stockers on instead of the ZR1s. I lost 1-2mph and about .15. Those bastards are heavy.

please don't waste money on suspension mods until you get a convertor and some tires.

you'd be suprised how well the stock suspension works

Well I just picked up my new MT ET streets today. Id like to get a converter. But I really am starting to worry bout my drive train. I was thinking about replacing U joints just because these have 90,000 miles on them. I was looking around what and where can i get some strong ones ? or should I just buy some stock ones ? Any ways I will be mounting the new rubber tomorrow.
