So I don't condone street-racing, nor do I normally participate in it. Occasionally, though, I feel the need to wipe the "S" eating grin off of some poor sap's face.
I was headed home from work after a bad day and was already frustrated enough as it was. Fortunately, it was a gorgeous (albeit cold) day, so I had the T-tops off and I was trying to calm down. I was minding my business when a pewter Boxster S felt the need to get in front of me before the right lane ended. I let that go, but then he kept driving like a d*ck and tailgating the guy in front of him.
We went at this for a while, with me following him at a reasonable distance. The road comes to a roundabout about 3-4 miles up, though, and then goes into two lanes again. THIS is where the fun begins. I stayed closer behind him at this point, and he dropped it into first (I could hear it). I kept the car in 2nd, not thinking he was gonna go. Well, I was wrong. He went pretty fast around the roundabout adn then NAILED it! I followed suit, but hit some lag in 2nd... and he STILL wasn't gaining on me. I pulled a good length on him before we got to the next light, where he was turning left and I was turning at a right that was about 150 degree turn. Looked over, he wouldn't even LOOK at me... so I lit up the tires around the entire turn... up the hill and left a cloud of smoke to remember me by. I <3 beating 50k cars with one I picked up for 3k.

Second Encounter:
Saturday, I was on 405 Northbound with my friend Chris (about 300 lbs, big guy) and caught a black 350Z driving a little aggressively. He got beside me, so I put it in 3rd. We both took off, and I hung even from 60-80. Well, he was convinced that it was a fluke... so when we both got off of 405 onto 520, we were in the exit lane and I hear him drop gears.
I dropped to second (@ 40) and heard him punch it. I followed suit a second later and actually yanked him by about 1-1.5 lengths through the top of third. Oddly enough, we happened to get off at the same exit and end up next to each-other at a light (he was taking a left, me going straight). I rolled down my window and told him he had a nice car and asked what he had done. He replied that he had intake, exhaust, and full suspension. He also had some nice black 5-spokes and painted calipers. He asked me what I had done, and I told him basically all I had was a muffler/intake and 125k on the clock . He paused for a second, looked at me, and then said "That's a... that's a pretty impressive car, man." PRICELESS look!
Anyway, I just thought it was funny/odd. The guy was a good driver, too... at least from what I could tell. There was very little lag time between hitting gears and he had his RPMs in the right range (mother was LOUD!). The look on his face when he saw my large passenger was priceless, too. My car must ahve been having a good day? --

i had some idiot in an integra try to play with me and a TA today on I-20....lets just say he couldnt hang
The TA (LT1 model) really didnt have much on me either, every time he'd punch it, there would be a lovely cloud of smoke coming from the exhaust
this adds to the loooong list of retards that think their POS is actually quick
maybe you guys just need to come down here --
