Got my first 5.0 kill Posted By: 91_gta On: 03-19-2010 @ 17:42:51 Reply | Edit Raced a 92 gt with headers back exhaust and short throw shifter from a roll of 35 and pulled em by 2-3 cars. I always thought those cars where alot faster? I thought he would hand me my ass. I have heard of those cars running 14.7 stock with a good driver. Puts me at 2-0 I have only raced a 79 camaro 305 carb 92 gt stang 5.0 -- 1991 Gta 305 tpi. pretty much stock. (for now.) That being said, alot of those car are tired out by now (high miles and what not) and driving has ALOT to do with it. Either way, very good kill! I remember the first time I killed a 5.0 and I definitely know the feeling. He wasnt happy since he didnt get to rub it in that he was faster. That'd be like making someone remove their headers because you don't have them.
