Ran the 1/8 mile yesterday and got a best et of 8.91 best 60 ft of 2.04 and best mph of 78. Could be faster but not bad for an almost stock car with street tires. -- http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/1877/jamiecar005222ka5.jpg[/IMG]

What year car? Any mods? Auto, or stick? From the trap speed, it sounds like an LT1. Either way, nice run and good 60' for street tires. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28

Definitely not bad at all. I'd make drag radials your next mod and then some headers and you'll be able to wittle it down to a mid 8 I'd think. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28

I never got to try bringing it out of the hole hard so I might have picked up a bit if I could have. I was spinning for a long ways when it hit second every pass so better tires would help. I plan on headers and maybe a cam and stall in the spring if I can save enough money this winter.Folled imediatly by a custom tune from gmr speed as they are pretty close. I am a bit leary to get real sticky tires as I have heard to many people talking about busting the rear ends in these cars. Speed parts I wont mind spending money on but 2k for a good rear would be depressing. -- 97 WS6 auto 4.10 gears underdrive pully Flow Master cat back

I took my auto 10 bolt to a 1.601 60' times with no problems. Still runs great too. Course I plan on shooting nitrous off the line when I get back from Iraq so I sold the 10 bolt and bought a 12 bolt. I think low 1.5 times will kill her even on a auto. -- Brothers 94 Camaro

With an auto, you'll be fine on some Nittos even with the 10-bolt. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28
