Well I head to the 1/8 track today b/c the 1/4 mile here is almost 2 hours away and having some specialty weekend that I don't care for. Anyway First run my car's temp is sitting at 210-220 and the voltage isn't doing to hot either. I can only muster a 9.49 with a horrible 2.5 60ft. Next run I let it cool down for a few minutes and try my luck one more time. Well as I get to the line the same damn thing is happening too hot and voltage is shitty, meh whatever I'll take a stab at it anyway. I cook up another blah run of 9.28 with another bs 60ft of 2.36. So okay my mph are alright at say 78, but my 60 is killing me along with the damn temp. Oh last run was best (sort of) I ran 9.24 at 79.16 with a 2.28 60ft.

So I guess what I'm saying is I need to flush the coolant and replace with Dexcool, plus a manual fan switch (who sells a good one?) along with a higher output alternator (again who, where and how much?) so I can actually see what my times will be

Harlan evidently makes a pretty good manual fan switch. Dunno about the alternator though.

I've heard that and was looking at them, but there's no place to order 1 on the site. I've heard that some people are running a Powermaster 200amp alternator, but I don't know the part#
