98+ firebird gets blown away

Posted By: RS31 On: 03-20-2010 @ 01:55:52         Reply | Edit
silver one with a body kit. WS6 wheels i believe. dual exhaust, couldnt tell if it was a LS1 or V6, it was stock tips. i feel like my car is slow so either it was another slow LS1 or it was just me thinking my car is slow and wouldnt have a chance against a V6. his license plate read something like "ilseeya". it was a 98+.

finally got an open 2 lane road, he was in front of me and got the jump (we had to turn), i punch it, he must have had it punched and i rolled right on by without any trouble at all. let off around 90 and he was serioulsy about 4 or 5 cars back (i didnt know if he was racing after that, but he musta been cuz 90 comes up pretty quick for me). we get a light and the guy wouldnt even look over at me. he went his way, i went mine

You raced it and couldn't tell if it was an LS1 or a V6? Are you kidding me?

Jesus...I lose more faith every time I read a topic.

it's a little tough when he masks himself with a trans am body and wheels...

dont tell me you dont think your car gets slower the more you get used to it.

it's hard to judge what is fast and what's not anymore. I really havnt been in anyone elses car in a long time. I dont remember what other cars feel like.

Maybe it was an LS1 that wasn't racing when it's cold as hell outside? Or a V6 which you should have no problem stomping.

^i'm guessing it was a V6 I had no problem stomping.

when i let off at 90 the car was 4 or 5 lengths back. i cant imagine an LS1 moseying his way to 90 mph while letting me beat him pretty badly... but then again it did have a tran am body

the TAs only have ground effects on the sides. the front and rear bumpers are completely different between the cars. just adding ground effects isn't what does it. i would figure you would know the difference, but just stating it in case you forgot. TA = circular fog lights, bird or formy = no.

sounds like a 6er to me.
