im just cruisin along I-90 doing about 65..i could see the vette coming up behind me..sure enough it slows down next to me and i can see these two kids in this red vette with this dorky red tint on the windows..normally i do NOT street race..but i couldnt pass this up..i had just enough time to open and arm the nitrous before we both floored it..right off the bat for the first second he stayed right next to me..then i started to pull..by 110 - 120 i had at least 2..maybe 3 lengths on him..i was very pleased..BYE BYE! -- 12 SECOND NITROUS POWERED 98 A4 V6 CAMARO

Cool, man. What else is done to that V6 other than the nitrous? Seems like a fast time for a sixxer. . . 12.8? --

With a 103-104 trap, you should be happy you pulled him. Most stock C5s will do more than that.
Very impressive for a 6, though. You don't see many fast ones out there, that's cool. -- Black '98 Firebird Formula M6

Definitally a great kill. Do count yourself lucky though, because most C5 Vettes will outtrap a 104 mph...unless you have some more toys since last year -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28

Yeah, I thought last year the top end was stock and he just had forged pistons and spray when he ran the 12.8. If he has done the top since then, then he could be knocking on the doors of 11s VERY SOON. The record is 11.8 on 6lb s/c and 100 shot, so I think that record can go down easily -- 2005 GMC 1500HD 6.0L, dumped true duals - Flowmaster 50 series, 3.73's

Record for a Fbody with a 3.8L motor may be that but there are the people from ZZperformance and Intense motorsports who are doing 9's in their FWD turbo 3.8L GTP's
In essence it should be just as easy on rwd fbodies. -- '94 Black Z28, 383 LT1 Breaking 11's SOON!

there just isnt anyone who has taken the time and money to do it. I've always wanted to...when the money is there, I dont have the time and when the time is there, usually the money hasnt been. In theory, take the same power and money the ZZP and Intense-Racing guys are putting down and you have a faster 3.8L fbody.
