poss 13 high 13s

i recently bought a 96 ws6 ram air m6 i doesnt feel that fast to me but only thing ive done is a air foil.rear end girdle with syntetic fluid change.cags.short throw.msd 8.5 wires and ngk plugs.mds cap and rotor.pulley kit.eletric water pump,tb by pass.u guys think i cant get a high 13s im going to the track next month but ive never raced before so is there any tips or pointers thanks

depending on the weather and elevation you should be able to get into the 13's easily. The best advice is to just practice. The more runs you get in the better you will be. With a M6 you'll have to do some trial and error to get a good launch rpm and cluth engaugement.

i race a 96 97 firebird ws6 last week i thought it would be close but the kid couldnt keep up i was shocked so we pulled up to another light i asked if he was really on it he says yes but he couldnt keep up both cars are ram air i happy with the outcome

As long as the car is running to full potential and you can drive (read: launch) the car well, then you should see 13's. If not, then get some drag radials and you'll be there for sure.

my buddy went 13.4 with just a k&n intake in his 97 z28 so it's possible --

Well, as bad as you pulled on him, do you know if you have the stock gears in there? Maybe a prev. owner did something.  -- 2005 GMC 1500HD 6.0L 3.73's
One of these days I will buy a 4th gen and NOT run the miles up on it Like they say, 3rd time's a charm.

i have no ide but the prevoius owner was a older lady ,but there was a rear end girgle put on. the rpo codes show a 3.42 gear si i dont know what i do know is i pulled on him hard it suprissed the hell out of me

I'd be willing to bet you have 3.73s or 4.10s in there. What kind of rpms do you turn on the interstate? -- 2005 GMC 1500HD 6.0L 3.73's
