LS1 kill by old 79TA

Posted By: 4004spdta On: 03-16-2010 @ 22:35:38         Reply | Edit
I raced a 02 LS1 SS Camaro yesterday from a dead stop. He had headers, M6 3.42 gears. Lined up at the light, no traffic. Light turned green, we were off. I spun a little and so did he, then pulled 1 length, I hit second and barked a hard second. I then pulled another length. Chirped 3rd and pulled another length. I had him by 3 lengths stayed pretty even until I hit about 80, then I pulled a 1/2 car on him to 100, Had him by 3.5 cars by 100 mph.

We went from a 40 mph after that, I was in second gear. I pulled him pretty hard, then let off.

Funny thing a SRT4 neon tried to keep up on the second race, what a joke. We both blew his doors.
