Had some fun this weekend with the car. I came across a dude in another LT1, had a cat-back, i don't know what else. Didn't sound that good though. He punched it from about 30, and I shifted into second and immediately caught him and shut down at about 55 with a car or two. He had his g/f in the car, I always love to beat people with their girls in the car He wouldn't even talk to me afterwards though. Then later that night i saw an LS1 SS pull out in front of me, so i caught him, and he slowed to about 35, waited for me, then we punched it. I pulled SLOWLY on him. He was at my back bumper at 90. It seems as though I run real well on the street, but on the highway I can barely pull on a Hemi Magnum to 115 . Damn LT1. Only race i've lost on the street is getting slaughtered by a '03/'04 Cobra the second night I had the car Talk about a confidence boost.
