First race with GT in the LS1

Posted By: TJNAPSTER On: 03-16-2010 @ 16:18:00         Reply | Edit
This morning an idiot in a late model GT (99-04) was sitting in the left lane just hanging there on my bumper. Then he floors it and rips by me.

Well, it was awesome seeing the look on his face as the LS1 caught up and screamed past the GT while he was still floored. Priceless

GTs are fun. Especially the ones that think they are so damn fast

Good job!

I sold the Formy to some guy in Canada. It was getting more and more problematic. The LS1 is insane, but I definetly miss the low end LT1 feel!

Trust me, the LT1 just feels faster down low, it really isn't.

I raced an 03 GT at the track that had drag radials. It's just an 1/8th but I got him anyway. He cut a 1.8 60' to my 2.2. Afterwards he asked me if I sprayed him. I laughed and told him it was just exhaust. He couldn't believe how fast I reeled him in. It was great.

lol, we only have 1/4 mile tracks here, but Ive taken just about every mostly stock GT I've ever run against in the 1/8th, but they usually catch me in the big end.
