My buddy has a 2000 (I believe) Saleen. It was NA, but the guy who he bought it from put a Vortech blower on it. I'm not sure if it has other work done. It dynoed 403 rwhp, but that was a while ago and we're not sure if that was with a different tune and race gas or anything. not sure how much it has as it sits now.
We went up to the highway last night and went 3 times from a 50mph roll. Every time he walked me about 1 to 1-1/2 car lengths. They were all very good races.
Now he wants to go from a low roll, so I'll let you know how it goes when it happens. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28

Yeah, it was a real good race, but I think a couple more bolt-ons and a cam and I'll be right with him or possibly ahead. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28

cool, well let us know what happens from lower speeds/dig. But get that cam done too.
I've often wondered how a 400rwhp LS1 compares to a 400rwhp Mustang. As they don't seem all that different in price (UK anyhow), get a late 99+ Mustang GT add a blower and an exhaust should equal 400+rwhp, OR a LS1 with all the bolt ons and a cam also (and probably a new rear too I guess) = 400+rwhp. For similar money.
The best thing on the Mustangs side is availability though, there are usuaully a few for sale from about £10k and up, a manual LS1 on the other hand is like 'hens teeth', last one I saw for sale (ages ago) was nearly £6k more than an auto. ARRRRRRGGGGG! --

Yeah just get a cam and it will be a different story. There is a local guy with a vortech supercharged (aftermarket) on a Saleen who claimed about 400rwhp. I had bolt-ons + TR224-112 with a fugged up tune making 371rwhp. I walked him on the freeway --
