First off, keep in mind that this is the first stick car I've ever driven, and this was my first time ever racing it. Also, I'm on stock tires with no traction mods at all. Keeping that in mind, I was extremely happy with my results!
1st run was a 14.27 @ 104.4 mph with a 2.67 60'. Not only did my launch totally suck, but I missed 3rd gear. Not bad for so much screwing up, LOL.
2nd run was a 13.41 @ 110.6 mph with a 2.44 60'. It was a decent run over all, but I'm got to work on the 60'
3rd run was a 13.40 @ 96.6 mph with a 2.28 60'. I got my 60' time down, but I missed 4th and never got it in gear, goring through the traps with it in neutral. I would have liked to see how it would have run if I hadn't missed that gear...I think it would have easily been my best of the night.

M/T Drag radials should solve them traction problems. Nice times though! Specially with those 60' times. -- Israel

Yeah, but they will also put the nail in the coffin for my rear end, LOL.
I'm gonna try some drag radials and a bit of suspension to try and get sub 2.0 60's. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28

Yeah, Brian, I'm sure I could get 2.0's with the stock tires. I launched it VERY soft every run. The first 2 bogged and the next 2 were slow rollouts. I think I might put my BMR LCA's and Torque arm from the TA on it and see if that helps.
Stock factory Hurst shifter. I want to get a short throw but don't know which is best. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28

Im not sure with the T56s, but the Pro5.0 shifter works well in the T5s.
On my radials I roll out like a light and then get on it (not a huge fan of riding the clutch) and this gave me 2.0s on my first passes on radials. Just get to LVD some more, and practice...
Also, how long did it take you to get there? --

You have to push the left pedal down if you want to shift --

Yeah, I definitally want to try power shifting, but I'm afraid I'l miss the shift. I don't care about breakage, but I don't want to mess up a run when I only get 4 or 5 at most.
It took about 2 hours to get there. I definitally plan on going up there alot this year and get some practice. It'd be nice to get a 12.99 before I put traction mods on it. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28

Well if you look at the way the shifters are built and what they are made out of the pro 5.0 looks great. My freind has one in his 03 and loves it. I'm getting a hurst but thats only because the guy i got it from owed me a few bucks so i got the shifter instead. -- 94 Z28 M6, Cai, hooker catback, SLP fan switch, Lakewood LCA, Jegster Tq arm.
