raced a 96 Cobra Posted By: ILLMATIC On: 03-14-2010 @ 14:14:02 Reply | Edit startes out I was "trying" to race a Z06  bad news. Few minutes later I see a stang run up trying to race the same Vette. I motioned to the stang driver not to try and race the Z06 because he would loose. The guy in the stang insisted that he could take it. Anyway the vette never bit. SO a little while late I ask the guy in the stang if he wanted to run 'em.
We started from a roll ma be 60mph but we both took off wrong so we went to go again. I'm like 3-4 cars in front of the guy and I see him come from the rear and I'm thinking OK now we can go. But as he's coming from the rear I'm doing like 70mph coasting and he flys past me and I try and get on it as he got next to me but it was to late I ate it by like 2 cars till 135mph. As they were going past the girl in the passenger seat waves  to me I was like WTF
So we get to a light I ask the guy to roll down the window and I say do u have anything done he says no. I say well you jumped me lets go from a dead stop when the light turns green he agreed. So when the light goes green I nail it we both spin I go into 2nd and chirp hard then mabe 1 sec later he goes into 2nd. Bad for him because he has a 5 speed. anyway I pull a car in 2nd then in 3rd a another car. By the time I was at about 110 he was fading back and decided to do a U turn and go the other way. couple days later I was talking to my g/f brother and turns out the kid goes to highschool with him and tells everyone that he kicks cars asses daily  well my g/f bro tells me the car has full cat-back and 3.73 rear and with intake.
Whats ironic is everytime the kid in the stang has come past my house he asks my g/f bro how fast is the Camaro in your driveway. So He had been wanting to race me but when we raced he had no idea it was mine. --

I'll get on the brakes pretty hard to show i stoped.
