<title>99 Z28 runs rough over 2300rpm</title>
<link>http://www.fbody.com/cgi-bin/ls1/read.cgi?msgid=86044</link>
<comments>My 99Z28 starts and idles fine but cuts out over 2300 to 2500 rpm and over. If you drive normal it runs okay but if you try to accelerate fast it falls on its face. Car has 75000 miles, stock with flowmaster exhaust(for now).Need exhaust soon. No check engine light. Fuel pressure about 57 lbs. </comments>

<title>A few quirks on my Z28</title>
<link>http://www.fbody.com/cgi-bin/ls1/read.cgi?msgid=86007</link>
<comments>Over the passed few months I’ve noticed a few quirks on my 98 Z28. Nothing I imagine that would directly impede the function of my vehicle, but they are getting more annoying.

First, when I try to click over to my brights, the lever won’t click. If I click the lever hard enough, it will switch to the brights, but won’t switch back without a fight. I’m certain that it’s just the lever itself because my lights function just fine otherwise. I’m wondering if replacing this lever requires just the</comments>

<title>How many miles will an 1995 LS1 last?</title>
<link>http://www.fbody.com/cgi-bin/ls1/read.cgi?msgid=85816</link>
<comments>I found a 1995 Z28 Camaro in my price range that I would love to buy. I am hesitant because it has 175,000 miles on it, and I do not have the money to be rebuilding the engine anytime soon. The car is from the original owner, I think he drove it rather mellow. I know he just replace the auto transmission recently.

How are your LS1 holding up? Is it common for them to go much past 200,000? Considering all regular maintenance has been performed. I know the owner took great care of the car, it i</comments>

They were put on six and a half years ago and they have 49k on them. Pretty outstanding for front brakes I think. I put the Napa Ceramix brand on back then. I hope they still have them.

<comments>Ok, now I know I am going to get ridiculously biased opinions, but hopefully someone that knows something will chime in to. I currently have a 99 WS6 Vert. Minor mods. Since the 2010 Camaro will probably never come out, I am looking into either a 2006 corvette vert, or a 2003-2004 viper. Now, I know stock for stock, a viper has better hp, torque and 1/4 mile times (Driver factored out). And much worse gas mileage. However, I hear a lot of negatives about the Viper. If priced the same, say</comments>

<title>blown radio/accessory fuse</title>

<comments>Weird problem on my 99Z28. Almost every time i unlock the car with the remote or lock the doors with the power locks when the car is off it blows the fuse for the radio/accessory which cuts off both the radio (monsoon if that matters) and the guages. Every so often it also blows the tail light fuse. Any suggestions?</comments>

<comments>My neighbor has a 00 Z28 with a hard start situation when cold.It happens about twice a week thus far. It turns over fine, but no fire. No codes and no other issues. The plugs have about 10k on them. the two I pulled looked fine. We did the fuel filter with no help. I can hear the fuel pump priming the days I started it. Im still thinking spark or fuel. If the pump checks out, could the relay be bad? Is there anything else I can check?

<title>Those with over 400 rwhp...</title>
<link>http://www.fbody.com/cgi-bin/ls1/read.cgi?msgid=85641</link>
<comments>What kinda of gas mileage are you getting?
My last dyno put me at 433 rwhp. I get extremely jumpy mileage, it dips below 10mpg, but sometimes I pull over 15. This is all hybrid city/highway. I am trowing a running rich code, so that OBVIOUSLY can play a part. I was just curious what others with similar power out put are getting, as I never even noticed my mileage stock, now I sit in my car and idle for 5 min and the needle has noticeably changed lol.

I bought a 4.10:1 gear ratio for a good price and was wondering if it is worth installing or not..I dont do much racing but it would be awesome to feel the extra torque. <title>All Guages Peg Upon Starting</title>
<link>http://www.fbody.com/cgi-bin/ls1/read.cgi?msgid=84697</link>
<comments>90 percent of the time when I start my 99 LS1 all guages, speedometer, rpm, temp, etc. go to the right as far as they can go. It also resets the trip meter to zero. It does not matter how long the car has been off. They stay there for only about two seconds. Anybody got a clue whats going on?

<comments>OK, gonna start out with the fact that this is my first muscle car of any kind, and apparently I started hardcore.

I am having an issue with the TA starting and running cold. I live in southern AZ, so for the most part this is not a problem however... Over the last couple of days it has been cold and rainy (cold meaning between 35 and 50 degrees) and for some reason my LS1 is not warming up. Sit for 30 to 40 minutes running, driving 30 minutes, still cold.

The major issue here is th</comments>
