last night after a nice bike ride with my buddy he was bringing me home and these 2 guys asked him if he wanted to race for titles. my buddy has a 98 vsecks bird. they had a 95z28 so we grabed my bird quick and went back and asked them if they were serious. well to find out the kid didnt know jack. he said he was going to buy the lt9 kit for it. he also said it ran 10.5 in the quarter and the track didnt tell him he needed a cage. we asked what track he ran at and he said humbolt which is an 1/8 mile. what does a 10.5 convert to in the quarter and what speed about. well that was about the hardest ive had to hold back laughing in a long time. if my car was shifting right i would have ran him

The rule I've seen is multiply by 1.55, so I'm going to guess an upper 15 lower 16 in the 1/4 with probably an 80mph trap speed or so. Could be way off though cause if the guy spun off the line.

I had a guy in a "turbo" Hinda want to race me one night. So I asked to see under the hood. He pointed at the alternator and said "see check out those turbos"

I almost wet my self.

Same parking lot about a week later a group of kids were running there mouth when I rolled up to go in the store. And they decided that there buddies turbo PT cruiser (actually turbo) would smoke my car cuase my car idled like crap(GM847 LOL) and had an auto and the PT cruiser had a stick.

Again hysteria.

in one of vsex birds, I ran a 9.45 1/8th and 14.65 1/4.....9.45 x 1.55 is 14.64 so that calculation is pretty dead on unless you have a turbo car. It was a 2.0 60' so it was a good launch too.
